Reliving the excitement of ‘V’ alien Invasion

Hola a tod@s, this is Maquetoys.is the web of models, figures and dioramas of the series and movies that we have marked the past and now. In this post we talk about our favorite series of the 80's "V" alien Invasion.

Some will know that V started out as a mini-series called "the final Battle" then it became the series that we all know as V – Alien Invasion, was one of the most famous TV series of the 80's, shot between 1983 and 1985, starring Jane Badler, June Chadwich, Robert Englud, Faye Grant, Michael Iroside, Marc Singer, among other famous figures.

The story is quite simple a fleet of 50 ships alien that comes to earth and falls on the world's major cities. Arrive in Paris, Rome, Geneva, Buenos Aires, Tokyo...one of the ships settles on the headquarters of the United Nations and our race of humans making contact with them, are equal to us and the only difference is that it does not tolerate the light of the sun, and their voices sound strange.

When they arrive they Say: _ We have come because we need to help our planet is in serious environmental difficulties, there are certain elements and compounds that we need to make and with them to save our civilization at risk, and you can help make that and in return we will share the fruits of our knowledge and we will go as we came in peace.

We go back to the 80's with V....

A little bit of getting to earth, they discover that these visitors are, in reality, a human-type reptiles, all pleasant and with a diet that is very special...they eat mice.

Its purpose is to bring the water of the earth and all of the food as possible and when we say food because you know that it is...

The inhabitants of the earth are in danger, since these reptiles are willing to do whatever is necessary to get what they want.

Humanity is forced to join and fight back against the alien threat, using all the weapons and strategies at their disposal. The battle for the survival of the human race has begun.

Meanwhile, reptiles, they continue their evil plan, plundering the resources of the planet Earth and sowing chaos in its path. The hope of humanity lies in its ability to resist and to struggle against this invasion before it's too late.

The series was a success all over the world, was the most viewed of the year for its time a series of revolutionary that under the wing of the science-fiction dared to treat topics such as the fascisms, the role of the woman as a figure of authority, and friend, the abortion... all scored in a context where you could see terrorists with the resistance fighting aliens.

The series began to decline in quality as they passed the chapters, the special effects were becoming increasingly poor or directly are recycled from other chapters, finally, the series was cancelled due to low ratings.
